Children Day Celebrations
On 14th November, Children’s Day was celebrated with gaiety and fervour at CISP by the teachers who organized a beautiful one hour colourful theme-oriented cultural programme trying to make all attempts to entertain the children and bring smiles on their faces. Likewise every year the occasion is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of our great legendary leader Pandit Jwaharlal Nehru and his great love for the children who called him ‘Chacha Nehru’ lovingly. Instead of students, the day’s morning assembly was conducted by teachers. The cultural programme started with Principal Sir’s paying floral tribute to Nehru and remembering his contributions towards the country. The campus was buzzing with excitement and joy with the performance of the teachers on stage. Every teacher brought her expertise and talent into the show and the students were overwhelmed with their entire effort. Teachers through their scintillating dance performances, solo and group songs, recitation delivery, storytelling, informative messages, encouraging words won great applause from the children. They cheered their teachers, laughed boisterously at their jokes and learnt moral values. At the end Principal Sir addressed the children by greeting them on the occasion and encouraging them to follow the principles of Nehru, to spread peace and harmony and do something worthwhile as they are the valuable asset of the nation and only hope of the tomorrow. The host of fun-filled activities made the day unique and memorable for all the children.
