CAMBRIDGE INTER SCHOOLS SPORTS TOURNAMENT

A group of 81 students accompanied by seven members of the faculty visited Cambridge International School at Kapurthala (Punjab) for four days to participate in the Inter Cambridge Schools Sports Tournament ‘TEJAS’. Kullu students displayed excellent team spirit and returned with the trophy for Best Disciplined School. They also brought back a number of medals including Gold, Silver & Bronze. Nelza Thakur (XII) bagged Gold in Shot put, Shubh Bhopal (XI) in Long Jump and Awadh Verma (III) in Skating. Alia Naaz (XII), Gaurav Thakur (XII), Aditi Thakur (VII ), Udhav Verma (VI) , Tenzen Sherpa (V) and Prabhav Sharma (VIII) returned with Silver medals in Long Jump, Relay Race and Skating. Alia Naaz (XII) also bagged Bronze Medal in 100m race. Ujjwal Kaistha (XI) bagged Bronze medal in 800m race. The Basket Ball Team, Table Tennis Team, Chess Team and Relay Race Team (U-16) also brought back the Bronze medals. Shubh Bhopal (XI) displayed a high level of Athletic ability for which he has been offered Free Training at Punjab Sports Academy at Jalandhar.
